Education and Training:
Education and Training are required to assemble critical surgical instruments used in the Operating Room.
Minimal Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- CS Vocational program or community college program
- Direct CS Experience
- Certification through a Nationally recognized organization

Necessary Skills:
- Operate & maintain various types of high tech equipment.
- Must have knowledge and education to know how to clean & test the operation of patient care equipment.
- Must be conscientious, industrious & reliable.
- Must be precise, be able to pay attention to detail, retain knowledge, plan and finally, assess priorities.
- The most important skill required is manual dexterity.
